This portfolio of ten gelatin silver prints was selected by Eliot Porter and two of his sons, Stephen Porter and Patrick Porter, and produced by Eliot Porter in conjunction with Scheinbaum & Russek Ltd., Santa Fe, in a limited edition of 25 numbered copies and 8 lettered artist’s proofs. Letterpress printing by Michael and Winifred Bixler, Skaneateles, New York. Portfolio boxes were made by Booklab, Austin, Texas. Portfolio design by Janet Russek. The prints were made by David Scheinbaum under direct supervision of Eliot Porter and were stamped and numbered on the verso on April 28, 1980. The prints are signed by Stephen Porter since his father has been incapacitated since 1989. Copyright 1990, Eliot Porter, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
